Mindfully Aware - Ready for Anything

Presentation on the Importance of a Mindful Approach

Mindful Life, Mindful Work, Inc's  Mindfully Aware - Ready for Anything presentation is designed to expose companies to the importance of embedding a mindful orientation into the systemic fabric of their business activities and company culture. Mindful awareness, combined with intelligence, process thinking, and the courage to apply it enhances creativity, resilience, stress management, and optimal performance in the face of great change and uncertainty.

Attendees to this 60-minute presentation may either be new to mindful approaches or have significant experience with various mindful methods and practices. Regardless, all attendees will experience the great value of both formal and informal mindfulness practice and applications, and will in turn learn how they can skillfully integrate these practices into daily life to best increase a consistent awareness that promotes calm, competent presence and skillful action. There will be ample time reserved for participant Q&A.

  • Motivation related to performing optimally as an individual and team under the pervasive conditions of volatility, uncertainty, complexity, and ambiguity (VUCA)
  • Skillfully managing inevitable stress: How do you respond or react to it? Do you let it “stress you out” and become reactive? Do you ride it like you would a wave and accept it to some degree? How does the way you respond to stress effect your work and the rest of your life?
  • How to grow a greater ability to manage emotions like boredom, frustration, anger, and fear
  • Learn to be better able to concentrate without being distracted by our own thoughts and feelings, and also by external interruptions from our environment
  • How having a mindful approach is the foundation for more effective living
  • Being more mindfully aware, which is a critical factor in any complex system; a mindful approach can be cultivated and increased over time to meet the challenges of ever-changing conditions
  • How growing a mindful approach and company culture can best support the needs of your team and organization amidst the current market environment, ultimately enabling increased performance on individual, team, and organizational levels
